McNeill Ranch (South of Hobbs, NM on Hwy. 18) - When I pulled off the side of the road on my motorcycle to get a picture of this ranch gate, the ranch lady drove up and asked me what I was doing. She was very polite, and didn't mind me taking pictures at all. Two friends from work thought that I had had an accident and almost rear-ended each other trying to stop, and then one of the ranch lady's neighbors showed up, stopped in the middle of the highway and almost caused a wreck. I have been much more careful of where I stop since then. |
